You can rent a motorbike in Siquijor for Php350/day. There are plenty of motorbikes for hire in the port area. You may hire a tricycle for a day tour if you don't drive. Haggle for the rate, which mostly starts at Php2500/day. Make sure to include all the destinations you want.

The San Juan area in Siquijor is the developing tourism hub of the island. Accommodations, restaurants, and bars are settling in this area. While most tourists prefer to be in this town, other accommodations on the island offer cool, green, and lush island vibes.

The witchcraft reputation of this island is a bittersweet scare to tourists. Locals always associate the island with black magic, love potions, and 'manananggal' (a Filipino mythological creature). This stigma frightens the locals, and they would rather skip visiting the island, which in turn preserves the simple and chill beauty of Siquijor. Foreigners, on the other hand, who don't believe in black magic, enjoy the less crowded spots and the charm of the island.

The Paliton Beach in San Juan, Siquijor has become a popular spot for tourists. This beach has lost its quietness because of the crowd and stores along the beach. From a secluded to a commercialised beach, you can still enjoy the sunset here.

How cool is it to have a public spring water park with clean, cool, flowing water? You can chill here while dipping your feet. Enjoy a calming experience or go on a picnic with friends in this park. So what's the best way to enjoy? Go straight to the beach across the park and do a spring to sea swim.

The San Juan Beach stretch is a mix of rocky and swimmable parts. The sweet spot is near Calipay Spring and in front of Get Wrecked Beach & Sports Bar. At midday, you can fully experience the beauty and refreshing water. This is a public beach but doesn't get crowded compared with Paliton Beach. I like it better here.

Dare to have a cliff shot at Pitogo Cliff. This area offers cliff diving and photo opportunities. The entrance fee is ~Php30, and you can enjoy unlimited cliff diving at the lower part of the cliff. Before arriving at the cliff area, you will pass by the Pitogo trees that grow in the area. It looks eerie at first, but this adds to the mystical vibe of the island.

The Century Old Balete tree adds to the island's mystic vibe tourist spots. Amazingly, there is a spring at the base of the tree where you can try the fish spa for a fee. The tree is near the main road, and the entrance fee is ~Php20.

San Isidro Labrador is the patron saint of Lazi Church. You will pass by it on your way to Cambugahay Falls. It is always nice to see the old Spanish churches in the islands of the Philippines. Just across from the church is the Lazi Convent.

Lazi Convent is open to the public for a fee. The old convent still preserves Hispanic architecture. On the second floor, you can see antique collections. 

This is a bit far from the main road, but the access is concrete, so no worries. You must take steep stairs from the entrance to reach the falls. Once you reach the falls, locals will encourage you to try the swing, then plunge into the water basin. The entrance fee is ~Php50, and tips to locals start at Php20 for unlimited swings. You may try different levels- low, mid, and high. You have to try all. If you are too scared, you may swing with a partner and use a life jacket. Alternatively, you can enjoy the canoes and paddle near the waterfalls.

Lagaan Falls, located in Lazi, is a serene and less crowded tourist spot. An entrance of ~Php50 and donation for the guide. The guide is mandatory even for a ten minute walk but he will help carry your bag and tour you to the cave behind. You may also ask the guide to accompany you to the next fall for a little more adventure.

If you came from Lazi Church, the man-made forest is along the way to Monkey Beach. This hundred-meter stretch has a welcoming and cool breeze. Another man-made forest along the way to Salagdoong Beach gives the same vibe.

The Monkey Beach in Siquijor is a hidden gem of the island. Google's pin is pretty accurate, and you will pass through the woods. There is a 'Monkey Beach' sign that marks the entrance. Follow the trail to lead you to the parking lot. Hike down the steep stairs, and a secluded white sand beach awaits. Local fishermen are stationed here, so you will feel safer. The spot at the far right is where you can chill, swim, and get your tan.

As the name implies, the Secret Beach of Siquijor is pretty hidden. The trail going here is farther than Monkey Beach, so you will also embark on the woods by following the trail and take a steep stairway to reach the beach. The water at the far right is mesmerisingly blue, which will entice you to swim. Though the shore is rocky, the Secret Beach is still serene and tranquil.

Be careful driving in the woods, as it gets slippery even during summer.

Salagdoong Beach is a private beach and one of the nicest beaches of Siquijor. It is also known for cliff diving. There is no entrance fee for diving, and there are two levels for cliff jumping. Look for signage or ask their staff if it is safe to jump; sometimes, they do not allow it if it is low tide. Salagdoong Beach entrance is ~Php50 per head, and you will pay Php10 for the Environmental fee. Motorbike parking is Php20. Cottage fee varies.

Continue driving through the circumferential road and stop by the footbridge of Dumalalay Boulevard. You can see these chill-out places along the highway. This view deck is a perfect spot for watching the Siquijor sunset.

This church will welcome you once you arrive at Siquijor Port. The number of churches on the island means that there are Catholic communities, so do not worry too much about witchcraft and sorcery. 

There is a night market in Siquijor town that opens at 5 p.m. It serves barbeques, hot soup, and grilled catch of the day. The location is along the highway by the seaside.

Another spot for beers and cocktails is the stalls at the bridge in San Juan. These dandy-style cocktail bars give an exciting vibe to Siquijor's nightlife.
